Hi everyone! No no, wait a sec… you probably have landed here by chance, or perhaps you are expecting a formal, stuffy presentation of Buzztripping. I definitely do not want to bore you since I prefer you to read and get inspired by my Buzzes, therefore here you find a short description of me, myself and I 🙂
Who are you?
I am Sole, an Italian young woman with a deep passion for journeys and foreign languages. Things I really love: travelling, travelling, travelling! Discovering new destinations without spending a fortune, eating out, visiting both important attractions and hidden corners, reading travelguides and websites’ reviews, sharing my enthusiasm… that’s what really makes me thrilled, wholehearted. I studied foreign languages and tourism in order to pursue my dreamgoal: turn my passion into a job.
What is Buzztripping?
Let’s keep it simple: “to buzz” means “to make a continuous, low sound such as the one a bee makes” (cit. Oxford dictionary), and a buzz is “anything that creates excitement or stimulus” (cit. Urban dictionary). So what? I would like you, readers, to be like frogs listening to my buzzes (reading posts) and catching them! Get inspired, fascinated… tripbuzzed!! Use my buzzes to plan your next trip to any European destination.
A special focus on Geocaching
A special section of Buzztripping is dedicated to Geocaching, an alternative way to discover the places I am visiting… have you ever heard about it? Geocaching is a worldwide treasure hunt, played by millions of people all around the planet. Geocachers and wannabe geocachers are welcome here… remember my Geobuzzes to find the most attractive, original and fascinating caches!
Why my Buzzes?
Plain and simple: I’ve been to all the places I am writing about (or some close friends of mine have), and I enjoyed every single journey I went on. I have learnt how to choose low-cost and comfortable solutions for the accommodation, and to include as many attractions as possible while travelling. So… would you trust a person that knows what she is talking about? I surely would!
What’s your favourite destination?
I definitely think Italy is really incomparable in terms of breathtaking scenarios, attractions and culture… but most of all, I would like to invite you to Friuli Venezia Giulia, my beloved region, at the crossroad of Italy, Austria and Slovenia, nestled between Alps and sea.
Friuli Venezia Giulia is a secret gem full of nuances: precious history, wonderful landscapes, excellent food and wine… let me disclose it to you 🙂
Be inspired, be BUZZTRIPPED
